About Hayath Relief

HR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established in 2018 from a deep concern to help and improve the lives of those experiencing hardship around the world. You may be asking yourself, why another nonprofit? The simple answer is, there are 7 BILLION people in the world. There is always a need, we just have to find it. Hayath Relief distinguishes itself in that we strive to provide real-time results with the projects we take on. We connect with locals in the areas that need relief. You will see the results of your donation as every step of our efforts is documented.

Ali Iqbal is a Canadian board certified transplant nephrologist practicing in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at McMaster University, where he completed his medical school and residency training. He is a member of Islamic Relief Canada, Canadians in Support for Refugees in Dire Need (CSRDN), as well as the International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China (ETAC). 

Faraz Shaikh grew up in Pakistan where he got a BSc. in Computer Science before moving to the US for higher education. He got his MA and PhD in Religious Studies at Indiana University Bloomington and now teaches Religious Ethics at the College of William & Mary. He is committed to all causes that aim at providing relief and help to all who might be in need, wherever and whoever they may be. He is actively involved in and fully supports the work of Hayat Foundation.
Shahaab Uddin is a board certified internal medicine physician .  Since becoming a practicing physician he has led multiple initiatives in international health and refugee healthcare. He has always had a passion for equal access to health-care and social justice campaigns. He has partnered with various organizations to establish medical care for disaster stricken areas as well as refugee crises.  After seeing the intense need for physicians across the globe, in underserved areas, he founded Hayath Medical Relief Foundation.  He has been on numerous missions in Haiti, Puerto Rico, Bangladesh, Greece, Jordan and India. His goal is to ultimately inspire and unite the community to action and service towards humanity.
